Loch Ainort – Isle of Skye

Thursday, July 14th, 2016

Here's a little contribution to #throwbackthursday a picture taken on Skye back in 2008. In those days my camera wasn't of great quality and looking at it now, it really shows on those landscape pictures.

It's also a reminder that it has been that long since I last went on a trip to Skye, time flies.

This week's #throwbackthursday takes us to the Longoria Palace in Madrid, Spain

This art-nouveau building is quite striking yet hidden in one of the many narrow streets of Madrid. Not my best photography but this was taken back in 2008.

This week's #throwbackthursday is a picture of Brodick Castle on the island of Arran.

Arran is one of the largest islands of the south West coast of Scotland, accessible by regular ferries from Ardrossan. It's a popular destination for walkers and climbers as is the majority of Scotland for that matter.

This #tbt dates back to 2007.

Another #throwbackthursday , the Pagoda at Culzean Castle

Another #throwbackthursday , the Pagoda at Culzean Castle

Culzean Castle (pronounced Kul-lane) is an 18th century castle on the South-West coast of Scotland which now belongs to the National Trust of Scotland. The grounds of the castle are about as interesting to visit as the castle itself. This picture was taken back in 2007 and I'm fairly certain I'd never shared it before.
