This just in, CD Japan announces a new, and as yet untitled, record by Marty Friedman to be released on 25 August 2010.

The description is a bit odd though it says:

Original album release from Marty Friedman for the first time in four years. Features Japanese traditional music player and classic musician as guest performers. Main arranger and track maker is CMJK.

Have they forgotten about Tokyo Jukebox? Or does that not count as “original”? For the CD Japan page, see http://cdjapan.jp/d.html?KEY=YICQ-10011 and I’ll post more info when it’s available.
