You may think it’s a bit outlandish to play classical music on the electric guitar but bear in mind that both Paul Gilbert and Yngiwe Malmsteen regularly cite classical composers among their greatest influences. People such as Bach, Paganini or Mozart (Bethoveen’s kinda cool on the guitar too 
).
