Well folks, quite a few new things to talk about lately. First of all, we're going to be heading off to California for a quick trip at the end of the month and then, house hunting is starting to become rather interesting.
The trip wasn't planned, as you may guess. Still we'll be there from the 25th to the 30th of October to celebrate Steph's mum's 60th birthday. I'm not too sure what the exact plan is, we're probably going to be in Oakland on the 26th, in Livermore on the 27th and possibly 28th, unless we manage to go to the Annual Bridge School Benefit concert. For the rest, I'm not too sure.
If people want to meet, let us know and we'll see what we can arrange, but can't promise anything at this stage.
As for house hunting, well I don't want to say too much by fear of jeopardizing the whole process but we may just have found the right place for us. It'll be tight money-wise to begin with but if things at work keep going up, I may be able to jump up another step. In fact I'm going to be working to set things in motion to be more organised and effectively assume a position of project manager. Hopefully it'll pay off in the months to come, we seem to have a few projects coming in.
